Sun Microsystems buys MySQL.

Well, not long ago, a friend of mine complained that MySQL, the database he is using in his programming, started making changes in their licensing schemes and he was afraid that at some point it will not be free anymore.
Today I brought this news to my friend and I surely made him happy: MySQL has been bought by Sun Microsystems which is well-known as a good player in the Open Source world.
